Iver Johnson motorcycles were produced from 1907-1916 by a factory which originally made smallarms and cycles. By 1916 the market had changed and weapons manufacture began to seriously outstrip the prospect of motorcycle sales and Iver Johnson turned his attention to firearms and tools.

As well as a V-twin of 1020cc, a 500cc single was marketed.
