Air cooled, four stroke, 90 degree V-Twin, SOHC with desmodromic valve train, 2 valves per cylinder.

The Darmah is the touring version of the famous 900SS.

The 900SS differed in that it had a slightly higher 9.5:1 compression ratio and optional 40mm carburettors, standard being 32mm carburettors.

With a dolphin fairing and less weight by virtue of a manual starter and with more power*... the 900SS is an unashamed road racer and top of the Ducati range.
