This is a twin port (note two exhaust pipes) single cylinder four stroke, with overhead valves. It has external valve mechanisms, and a capacity of 500cc. We are not exactly sure of the year but think it is either 1929 or 1930. This is one of the last "real" AJS machines as they sold out to Matchless in 1931.
