World's First Motorcycle - Daimler 1885

At the entrance to the vast main hall is a replica of the Daimler Reitrad of 1885.

The Reitrad (Riding Wheel) is regarded as the first petrol powered motorcycle. This fully functional replica was hand built in 2008.
