HISTORY OF THE AUSTRALIAN MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM
Founded in 1990 by Brian and Margaret Kelleher and originally located
in Canberra, the Museum moved to its new premises in Nabiac... More...
DONATIONS & LOANS
The museum is an organisation funded by the Kelleher family, donations,
and volunteer labour. Many of the motorcycles on display are on loan to
the museum, and we seek old and unusual bikes either unrestored or restored
for display.
It is better to have the bike cleaned and dusted regularly than to have
it sit in a shed somewhere where no one can see it. Loaned bikes may have
a sign placed near them identifying and thanking the person who has loaned
the machine. Bikes may be placed on long or short term loan, and may be
removed by the owner at any time. If you have a machine that you think
you would like to have on display please contact us.
We are in the process of setting up a library of motorcycle books and
magazines, and are looking for donations of any old motorcycling literature.
Items of particular interest will be restored, if necessary, and the donor's
name and thankyou notice placed inside the front cover.
Again please contact us if you are able to
assist. Any assistance will help preserve our motorcycling heritage.
