The C12, 250cc, OHV BSA replace the earlier C11 side valve units in 1955. The model continued to be produced until 1958.

The one on display appears to be the wrong colour, as in 1955-56 they were maroon with cream side panels. In 1957-58 the tank was chrome with black as an option to the maroon. This model had a top speed of about 65mph and could cruise comfortable at 55mph.
