This pretty motorcycle was built by BSA as a no-frills machine. Over 35,000 were produced. Maximum horsepower of 35 bhp (?? I don't think so ??) was developed at 6000 revs giving a top speed of 43mph (69kph). It is fitted with a two-speed gearbox and 249cc sidevalve engine. The shape of the tank earned this model the nickname of "Roundtank". The lights fitted to the bike an were optional extra.
