Acme 1949

Acme-1949-PA-Info.jpg
An Australian built Acme motorcycle.

These were built by Bennett & Wood in Sydney, NSW between 1939 and 1949 using a Villiers 122cc 2-stroke engine in a locally built frame.

B&W imported, and later manufactured, Speedwell bicycles from 1882 and were the NSW importers of BSA - whose Bantam motorcycle's success basically caused the demise of the Acme.
